Gunpowder Temple of Heaven pinhead green tea has acquired its name by the appearance of the leaves, which are rolled into pellets resembling shot. Temple of Heaven is a superior grade tea with smaller, tighter pellets that unfurl slowly when water is added, releasing a refined, sweetish brew with a delightful aroma. One of the best green teas we have tasted. Multiple infusions recommended.

Use 1 level teaspoon per cup and steep for 2 minutes in 75° to 80°C water.

    Ordered this couple of days ago. Arrived quickly which is great. I drink a lot of green tea, in particular when I was having treatment for breast cancer. Is fabulous antioxidant and kept me healthily hydrated. This tastes great. Slightly woody and sweet. Just use a pinch and top up same leaves with hot water throughout day. Unless you like your tea strong, a pinch is enough when the leaves unfurl. I use a Chinese style flask to carry when I am out and about. Recommend this tea.

    I drink this tea all the time and use the leaves for more than one brew. Delicious and very good value.
