Rooibos (Redbush) is native to South Africa where it is widely consumed for its flavour as well as its many health-giving properties. It contains no caffeine and is rich in minerals and vitamins. With its natural sweetness, rooibos is delicious both plain and flavoured.
Use 1 teaspoon per cup. Splash with cold water to preserve nutrients, then add just boiled water and steep for 5 minutes.
