Dark green pin shaped leaves are steamed to avoid fermentation. A pale green cup with a taste a little reminiscent of seaweed and a little sharp, but still refreshing. Sencha is high in Vitamin C. Multiple infusions are recommended.

Use 1 heaped teaspoon per cup and steep for 1 minute in 80°C water.

    One of my favourite teas

    Not the same as other green teas so be prepared to be different. It has a definite green colour and distinctive flavour. I love it. I always have this on the shelf, and there are days when I just need that refreshing flavour. love it.
