Snow Buds, also known as Xue Ya, is a rare white tea grown on the high mountain peaks of northern Fujian Province. The hand harvested one leaf and a bud is covered with a silvery white down that is indicative of a fine quality white tea. Taste is surprisingly full flavoured and smooth with nuances of both green and white tea.
Use 2 heaped teaspoons per cup and steep for 3 to 4 minutes in 75° water.
NOTE: This is a big leaf tea and weights over 50g are packed in strong heat sealable brown craft bags.
