Peppermint is highly regarded for its beneficial effects on the digestive system by relieving stomach ache, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, bloating plus similar complaints and also helps reduce travel sickness.
Use 1-3 teaspoons per cup and steep for 3-5 minutes in just boiled water in a covered container.
Make peppermint poultice for headache - Add 9g peppermint to cup of boiled water. Stir well and leave covered for 10 minutes. Strain the leaves and soak a cloth in the liquid, wring out and place poultice on forehead or back of neck. Relax for 20 minutes or for as long as desired.
